Increase competitiveness in the European gas market by reforming transport charges
The European energy union aims for secure, affordable and sustainable energy supply for the European end consumer. At least two of these goals – profitability and supply security – could be supported by reforming the entry-exit transport charges for European natural gas transmission networks.
We present two concepts for redesigning the entry-exit tariff system to increase competitiveness and thereby reduce consumer pressure.
